The safety of our employees and customers is a priority for Your Smooth Move. If you have an upcoming move please take a look at the guidance below to gain an understanding of the changes we have put in place to reduce the risk of covid-19. 

In line with government recommendations we have implemented the following changes:  

Distance

We kindly request that all occupants remain in a different part of the property to the rooms we are working in. If this is not possible please ensure a minimum distance of 2m is maintained and masks are worn while you are in the same area as our team.

Reduced Contact

We work with the same small teams to reduce our number of contacts.
Please ensure that all internal doors are left open to minimise contact with door handles.

Cleaning and Handling

We kindly request that items and surfaces are cleaned using household cleaning products before our team arrive.

Ventilate Rooms

Please open windows and doors to ensure the property is well ventilated during the move.

Being Informed

Please let us know if you have recently tested positive for covid-19 and are isolating. Unfortunately, this will result in a delay to your moving date, but we will arrange a new date as soon as it is safe to do so. 
 
In the event of employees testing positive prior to your move, we will support customers to find alternative moving solutions. We will be more than happy to contact other removal firms that we trust on your behalf to try and ensure your move goes ahead on the date and time that were planned.
